Our slogan can be found throughout our entire brand philosophy and is also intended to encourage our community to follow a more sustainable lifestyle. Sustainability and ecology play an increasingly important role in our society. More and more people are aware of the fact that resources are becoming scarcer and scarcer, that climate change is steadily increasing, and that constant consumption is having a major impact on the future of our planet. It is the responsibility of all of us to do something about it and keep our planet as green as possible. This is also something that needs to be taken care of in the fashion industry. At SURU STUDIOS, we want to lead by example and set the tone by making sustainable choices – also in terms of packaging materials. In this blog post, we give you an overview of our sustainable and resource-saving polybags and tell you about their advantages.
SUSTAINABLE, ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY AND INNOVATIVE
In order to package sustainably, it is essential that raw materials are obtained carefully and in a way that conserves resources. On top of that also the disposal and the recyclability contribute to the sustainability of packaging materials. For SURU STUDIOS, it is important to combine both aspects and to rely on packaging that is both resource-friendly and recyclable. These high standards we have set for ourselves as a sustainable fashion brand have led us to biodegradable polybags. All of our products are packaged in compostable polybags that decompose after a few months due to natural microorganisms such as bacteria, fungi and algae. You wonder why we chose this solution? Biologically degradable polybags are the perfect alternative to conventional plastics because they are made from renewable raw materials. In the production process, polylactic acid is extracted from plants - mainly corn. This can be processed into granules and thus into plastic products. In this way, non-renewable resources are conserved. In addition, less CO2 is generated during production and disposal is also more environmentally friendly than other types of packaging: The material decomposes only into water and the amount of CO2 that was stored in the original plant.
